Galit Yovel is a Cognitive Neuroscientist in the School of Psychological Sciences and the Sagol School of Neuroscience. Galit completed her PhD studies in Psychology (with emphasize on Cognitive Neuroscience) at the University of Chicago, She then continued to post-doctoral studies in the department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT. In 2005 Galit joined Tel Aviv University and set up a laboratory to study the cognitive and neural mechanisms of person recognition. Galit taught several undergraduate courses including Physiological Psychology, Research Methods and Introduction to Psychological Sciences, as well as graduate courses on high-level visual mechanisms and face processing.
