Bio

Dr. Hyeon-Jeong Suk is an associate professor of Department of Industrial Design(ID) at KAIST in South Korea. Dr. Suk received BS and MS in industrial design from KAIST and doctoral degree in psychology from University of Mannheim in Germany. She worked as a professional designer in industry in South Korea and in Germany and has carried out a number of industry-academia projects since she joined the faculty of ID KAIST. Currently she is leading a Color and Emotion lab and an editor-in-chief of the Korean Journal of Emotion and Sensibility.

She is an author of Theory and Application of light(Sciencebooks, 2013), Koreans’ Colors, Tastes, and Styles (Yelim, 2014), and some more. Her research interest includes color psychology and emotional design, and she has been listed on the Marquis Who’s Who since 2011.
