Jessika Luth Richter, MSc, is interested in policies and initiatives for closing loops in a circular economy, and evaluation of environmental economic instruments for a green economy. She has experience evaluating a wide range of policies including emissions trading, green stimulus packages, and extended producer responsibility systems. Jessika’s research interests also include consideration of policies and practices for closing material loops for secondary supply of critical and other raw materials from waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). She is currently researching policy instruments for energy efficient lighting products and how questions related to design, disposal, collection, labels, procurement, and closing material loops can be addressed in a synergistic way. Jessika is also involved in teaching at the IIIEE.
