Katie Ferraro, MPH, RD, CDE

Bio

Katie Ferraro is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) with a Masters in Public Health: Public Health Nutrition (MPH). She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco Graduate School of Nursing and the University of San Diego Hahn School of Nursing and Health Sciences. Ms. Ferraro specializes in Geriatric Nutrition and Nutrition Education and is the author of the forthcoming text, “Diet Therapy in Advanced Practice Nursing: Prescriptions for Improving Patient Outcomes Through Nutrition” (McGraw Hill, 2013). Katie enjoys traveling and exploring new food cultures and is a former Peace Corps Volunteer (Nepal).
